Gilas Pilipinas suffered a dismal 71-81 loss to Estonia in a tune-up game in Tallinn early Wednesday (Manila time).
Carlos Jürgens led Estonia with 20 points as the team handed the Philippines’ first loss in one of its tune-up matches that serves as the final build-up for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup this August.
Dwight Ramos was the only Gilas player to reach double digits after getting 16 points.
Scottie Thompson did not play due to back spasms.
The Philippines will face Finland Wednesday evening at 11 p.m. (Manila time).
