RSG Slate PH, ONIC PH, and TNC Pro Team have already started making roster changes way ahead of Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines Season 12.
RSG Slate PH, the MPL Season 9 and Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2022 champion, first parted ways with MPL veteran and middle laner Dexter “Exort” Martinez.
Without two of its starting five last season in star jungler Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto and Arvie “Aqua” Antonio, RSG Slate PH surprised the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive scene when it still mustered a third-place finish in Season 11.
In Demonkite’s absence, RSG Slate PH tapped the services of popular streamer and content creator John Paul “H2wo” Salonga before leaning on John Darry “Irrad” Abarquez towards the end of the regular season.
ONIC PH, meanwhile, has parted ways with four players and one of its two coaches.
Having shown great potential with a revamped roster in Season 10, ONIC PH failed to move upward last season when it ended with a top 5 to 6 finish.
As a result, the ONIC PH brass opted to let go of experience laner Landher “Der” San Gabriel, roamer Jefferdson “Kekedot” Mogol, jungler Stephen Jasper “Sensui” Castillo, Southeast Asian Games 2023 Mobile Legends gold medalist Nowee “Ryota” Cabailo and coach Hendrich “Lyrick” Clahi.
M3 Mobile Legends world champion Blacklist International has yet to reveal its roster for the upcoming season.
It, however, announced that it has loaned gold laner Jon Redick “Super Red” Bordeos to Red Giants Esports.
