PFF Women’s League: La Salle fires four goals past McDaniel

Not even the presence of Filipinas goalkeeper Olivia McDaniel and forward Chandler McDaniel intimidated De La Salle University after it trashed Stallion Laguna FC, 4-0, in the PFF Women’s League at the PFF National Training Center in Laguna Saturday.

Shai Del Campo fired a brace in the 25th and the 89th minutes for the Lady Archers as they picked up their second win of the season.

Maria Lourdes Layacan opened the scoring of La Salle in the 18th minute with Angelica Teves shooting a screamer in the 33rd minute.

In the earlier 4:30 p.m. game, UAAP Season 85 champion Far Eastern University crushed Azzuri SC, 5-0.

Dionesa Tolentin (22nd minute) and Katrina Magbitang (36th minute) powered the Lady Tamaraws in the first half before goals from Rose Arevalo (67th minute), Jonela Albino (82nd minute), and Sarahgen Tulabing (83rd minute) sealed the win for FEU.
