Toyota Motor Philippines recently announced the addition of the Hilux GR Sport to its local lineup, further strengthening the position of the nation’s leading pickup.

One of the most striking features of the new Hilux GR-S is its exterior. A wider body profile with matte black GR-S overfenders gives it a powerful stance, while 17-inch alloy GR design wheels paired with All-Terrain Tires fortify its road presence.

Adding to the visual appeal is the GR Aero sports bar. Dimension-wise, the pickup now spans an additional 120 mm in width and stands 65 mm taller.

These dimensions not only augment the vehicle’s aggressive appearance but also emphasize the Hilux GR-S’s generational advancements in quality.

Toyota has also incorporated GR front and rear disc brakes with GR brake calipers, combined with monotube shock absorbers, ensuring drivers experience optimum control and performance, whether navigating city streets or exploring off-road terrains.

Inside, the new model boasts of a luxurious yet sporty ambiance. The cabin is adorned with GR-S suede and leather seats. The steering wheel, bearing the GR-S emblem, is made of leather, and the door trims feature a technical mesh, further accentuated by red seatbelts.

Modern amenities have also been infused into the vehicle’s interior. With a 9-inch Display Audio equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an integrated Wireless Charger, every journey promises to be a tech-rich experience. To enhance the ease of use, Toyota has also incorporated a Smart Entry and Push Start System.

Safety remains paramount for Toyota, and the Hilux GR-S is no exception. The new model boasts a Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, ensuring drivers have an extra set of eyes on the road.

The pickup is also equipped with Toyota Safety Sense and features such as a Panoramic View Monitor, Anti-Lock Brake System, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist Control, and Downhill Assist Control, providing peace of mind for both the driver and passengers.
