Matthew Justine Mendoza, Raven Faith Alcoseba, Fernando Jose Casares at Marion Kim Mangrobang wound up seventh in the mixed relay, the last event of triathlon held at the Chun’an Jieshou Sports Centre Triathlon Course

They accumulated a time of one hour, 33 minutes and 59 seconds over the course of 300-meter swim, six-kilometer bike and 1.86-km run stages.

The gold-silver-bronze winners were Japan (1:26:21), China (1:27:48) and Hong Kong (1:28:22).

Casares placed 10th in men’s individual, while Remolino was 13th. Mangrobang was 13th in women’s and Alcoseba 16th.

The triathletes were supported by the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee.
