Mark Laurence “Bao” Cabigting has been released from TNC Pro Team following alleged scamming issues within the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community.
A multi-role player for TNC Pro Team, rumors had spread like wildfire on social media about Bao asking fans for money citing the need to pay tuition fees, among others.
As soon as the issue came to light, TNC Pro Team acted immediately and fired the player.
“We would like to announce that Mark Laurence ‘Bao’ Cabigting is no longer affiliated with TNC Pro Team,” TNC Pro Team said in an official statement.
“While we appreciate the moments we shared, TNC remains committed to our fans and the whole MLBB community. TNC will forever uphold trust and integrity as part of our core values.”
Bao issued an apology and admitted his mistake.
“First of all, I would like to apologize to all the people who supported and accepted me in the short time that I was a player in the professional scene. I am asking forgiveness because I have hurt you and disappointed you,” Bao wrote on his Facebook.
“I know that I was wrong and I have hurt you all. What I did was very wrong and I accept that. I would also like to apologize because it is only now that I had the courage to face all of you.”
Bao particularly asked forgiveness from Blacklist International, admitting that he hit the organization behind its back.
Bao also begged forgiveness from TNC Pro Team’s management while pleading to stop the death threats and exaggeration of his mistakes.
“I beg forgiveness from Blacklist (International) for being brash behind their backs. To the agents (Blacklist fanbase), sorry for what I did. I was wrong. I do not know why I did what I did because you have all accepted me. I am sorry for everything I have said,” Bao stated.
