AFC Cup: Macarthur pummels Cebu

Cebu FC suffered a 0-3 loss to Macarthur FC in the AFC Cup at the Rizal Memorial Football Field Thursday evening.

Matthew Millar opened the scoring for Macarthur early after a goal in the third minute before Jed Drew added another goal in the 65th minute.

Ali Auglah added another goal for Macarthur in the 95th minute to fortify the win.

Macarthur advances to the knockout stages after topping Group F with a 5-0-1 win-draw-loss record.

Cebu finished the group with a 1-1-4 record highlighted with a 1-0 win over Myanmar’s Shan United last 26 October.
