After ruling nearly all of the major tournaments this year, members of AP Bren seem to have a little “disagreement.”
Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel, David “Flap” Canon, Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, Marco “Super Marco” Requitano, Vincent “Pandora” Unigo, and coaches Francis “Ducky” Glindro and Vrendon “Vren” Pesebre appear to be divided over the use of exclusive skin following their conquest in the M5 Mobile Legends World Championship recently.
Tradition has it that winning an M-Series world title does not only give the world champion the lion’s share of the prize pool, but they also get to choose an M-Series exclusive skin likened to the winner of the prestigious tournament.
In the case of Bren Esports in 2021, the team picked Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s trademark hero Lancelot, who was vital to their world title win after he carried the squad to winning gold.
Three-time Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines champion and M3 Mobile Legends world champion Blacklist International, meanwhile, opted for Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna’s trademark hero Estes — a seemingly easy pick that the team decided to go for shortly after the tournament.
MPL Season 11 champion and M4 world champion ECHO, for its part, picked Chou for its flexibility to be played in the jungle or roam and is a comfort hero to their team captain Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera.
AP Bren, however, is having difficulty deciding.
As soon as the M5 was over, the team was everywhere about picking an M5 hero that would don the team’s signature Yellow branding.
M5 MVP Flap wants to go for Thamuz or Arlott, captain Pheww wants Brody or Faramiz, gold laner Super Marco likes Brody or Claude, roamer Owgwen says Arlott and Brody, while jungler KyleTzy was egged by coach Ducky to pick Diggie.
