Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer Mooton Games promises to showcase the biggest prize pool yet in MSC history when it returns to action this year.
What used to be known as the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup, the MSC, now known as Mid Season Cup, used to be the stage for some of the best countries in Southeast Asia to duke it out.
But in 2023, Moonton Games expanded the participating teams by adding Middle East and North Africa, North America and Turkey.
A top-tier international tournament that looks to be a mid-year prequel to the annual M-Series world championship, Moonton Games has added even more teams from around the globe including East Europe and Central Asia, Turkey, Mongolia, the Mekong Region (Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Brunei), North America, Latin America and China on top of the huge prize pool.
“The Mid-Season Cup was rebranded in line with Moonton Games’ Esports for Everyone vision to promote diversity and inclusivity for more global athletes to have the opportunity to compete in one of the most-watched esports tournaments worldwide,” Moonton Games said in a statement.
