The H-100 is a top-selling light commercial vehicle assembled locally at Hyundai’s Santa Rosa plant in Laguna. Since 2009, it has been one of the top choices for most of the country’s businessmen and entrepreneurs.

“When Hyundai Motor Company shifted into a mobility solutions provider in 2019, it meant enlarging our roles as an automotive manufacturer. Since then, we have been pursuing innovative ways in which we can provide freedom of movement for the benefit of both people and the community at large,” said Dongwook Lee, president of Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc., during last week’s turnover ceremony where two units of the H-100 were donated to the National Capital Region office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Both will be turned into disaster response and management vehicles and in support of the various reach-out operations undertaken by the agency.

Lee added: “Earlier in the month, DSWD celebrated its 73rd founding anniversary. Please allow me to extend our congratulations. We, at Hyundai Motor Philippines, are thankful that we get to now be a part of continuing your mission as the country’s ‘compassion central’. We look forward to our ever-reliable H-100 becoming your partner in uplifting more Filipino lives.”

Joining Lee were other HMPH executives Cecil Capacete, HMPH managing director, and Hongshik Chin, HMPH chief finance officer. They were welcomed by Miriam Navarro, DSWD-NCR assistant regional director for operations, and Benchie Gonzales, DSWD-NCR assistant regional director for administration who represented Atty. Michael Lorico, DSWD-NCR regional director.

The H-100 is Hyundai’s light truck that provides equal measure of style and stability. Its sleek profile is complimented by a solid build quality and functional interior, including a glove box and center lamps.

Its powerful yet fuel-efficient 2.5-liter CRDi diesel engine is matted to a 6-speed manual transmission. Clutch take-up is very smooth and progressive, designed to operate in the toughest conditions and at the same time provide driver and passenger comfort. A variety of bedliner options are available to meet every type of Filipino customer’s business needs and goals. In addition, a 5-year or 200,000-km warranty coverage comes as standard.
