Actor David Licauco lends star power to iconic Honda bikes

With its aggressive styling, three enticing variants that come in distinct colors and styles, a six-speed 149cc four-stroke, four-valve, DOHC (liquid-cooled) engine, and a host of advanced safety features, Honda Philippines Inc. welcomed 2024 with an all-new motorbike model that is sure to perk up the market.

AT P129,900, the ABS Premium (here in Matte Galaxy Black Metallic) is also available in Matte Meteoric Red Metallic colorway.

THE ABS Racing variant (P131,900) comes in Infinity Red with gold cast wheels.

ALL-NEW Winner X’s most affordable variant is the Standard (P123,900), which comes in Pearl Iceberg White color way.

Guests and other members of the audience were surprised by the presence of actor David Licauco — Honda’s new product ambassador — during the launch as he led the unveiling of the all-new Winner X. He later joined key HPI executives as they tested the motor bike on a special course located at the mall’s parking area.

The all-new Winner X is available in three variants: Standard, ABS Premium, and ABS Racing.

Each of the bike comes in distinct colors and styles. The Standard variant (P123,900) comes in Pearl Iceberg White with Infinity Red wrap, while the ABS Premium (P129,900) is available in Matte Galaxy Black Metallic and Matte Meteoric Red Metallic colorways. While one can have the ABS Racing variant (P131,900) in Infinity Red with gold cast wheels.

As the name suggests, the ABS Premium and ABS Racing variants feature a front wheel anti-lock braking system that keeps the wheel from locking up (tire skidding) whenever the rider hammers down the motorcycle’s brakes.

All three variants are equipped with the Assist and Slipper Clutch that helps prevent rear tire slippage and aids riders maneuver better. It also has a Bank Angle Sensor that switches off the engine if the bike is about to tip over (and thus, preventing any possible injuries to the rider or damage to the bike), and hydraulic disc brakes that provide better, smoother and safer braking performance.

All three variants feature Honda’s innovative PGM-Fi fuel system that delivers 15.5 hp and 13.5 Nm of torque while registering a phenomenal fuel economy of 52.3 km/L (based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle).

The All-New Winner X is already equipped with an all-LED lighting system that ensures exceptional visibility when traveling at night; a fully digital meter panel that makes important data like speed, fuel levels, etc., easy to read; a Smart Key System that enables the rider to start the engine and lock the handlebar using a smart electronic system; an Anti-Theft Alarm and Answer Back System for increased security; and for the ABS variants, a USB charger for mobile phones.
