Fresh from treating the Iloilo crowd to a day of fistic fireworks, lightweight Eman Bacosa fights for the fourth time as a professional when he attempts to steal the thunder from the main event fighters Sunday when Manny Pacquiao Presents: Blow-By-Blow erupts at the Okada Manila.
Bacosa, who thrilled the Passi City audience last month, battles Jay Clyde Langahin of Black Hawk Boxing Stable of Davao City in a lightweight four-rounder as part of the Pacquiao-Elorde Boxing Awards.
During the official weighin Saturday, Bacosa and Langahin were joined by Pacquiao himself and visiting World Boxing Council president Mauricio Sulaiman, who will serve as main speaker of the award dinner.
The Bacosa-Langahin showdown is part of an eight-bout card being fully backed by San Miguel Beer, whose continued support to the fabled boxing program has left an indelible mark on Pacquiao.
“Blow-By-Blow has got a super heavyweight backer in San Miguel Beer,” said the future Hall of Fame inductee.
“Our partnership is one of a kind. Iba talaga ang may pinagsamahan,” Pacquiao added.
Seven other fights make up the slugfest that will get airtime on Cignal’s ONE Sports every Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
