Team Japeth and Team Mark duked it all out until the last second in an exciting Philippine Basketball Association All-Star Game that ended up in a stalemate, 140-140, Sunday night at the packed University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod City.

Fans witnessed a great game between the best and the brightest stars the league has to offer and were treated to a thrilling windup in the highlight of the PBA All-Star weekend festivities making its second stop in the City of Smiles in 16 years.

Robert Bolick completed Team Mark’s amazing comeback in the fourth quarter after converting a five-point play with 17.8 seconds left.

Bolick was fouled in the four-point and drained his bonus free throw to knot the game at 140.

Calvin Oftana missed on his drive attempt on the other end and Bolick had one last chance to win it for Team Mark with a long heave at the backcourt that almost hit the rim.

Unlike in the 2008 All-Star Game that also ended in a tie after regulation but was extended into overtime which the South All-Stars won over the North All-Stars, league commissioner Willi Marcial called it a draw.

Bolick shared the Most Valuable Player award with Team Japeth skipper Japeth Aguilar.

Meanwhile, the dance showdown between the two squads before the match also ended up in a draw.
