The U Series of Poker (USOP) Danang 2024 Part 1 entered its final day over the weekend at the Pullman Danang Beach Resort in Danang, Vietnam.
In partnership with Crown Poker Club and Lucky Poker, the festival kicked off 19 March and after 13 days of incredibly thrilling poker, it is down to the ultimate moment.
Monday’s record breaking USOP Danang 2024 Main Event opened with 18 players remaining, each one vying for a first ever title and most especially the VND 7,120,000,000 (~USD 287,677) top prize.
This jaw dropping figure is the largest portion of the enormous VND 44,575,300,000 (~USD 1.8 million) prize pool generated by the record-breaking 1,702 entry field.
The players positioned well to bring it home are New Zealand’s Thomas Ward and UK’s Gabriel Carter. Both players are 30 bb minimum ahead of the remaining pack. But of course, it is still anyone’s game.
