Splendido tourney underway

The Chairman’s Cup, featuring 76 two-man teams, gets underway Saturday at the Splendido Taal Golf and Country Club in Laurel, Batangas.

The field will be teed off shot-gun-style at 8 a.m.

The tournament format is best ball using the Stableford scoring system.

Among the event’s sponsors are Golforce, Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc., Explicit, Golf en Sky, Forest Hills, ICSI, Delimondo, Rainbow Pest Control, Inc., Globe, Noceda, M78 Development Corp., LCSI, Harbor Star, Microtel by Wyndham Eagle Ridge, Fundador, JS Mina Lights & Sounds, and Pilipinas Golf.

Hole-in-one sponsors are New Element Aparrel, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., and Tee One Inc.
