Yamada leads JGFP Riviera winners

Kenji Yamada edged Francis Thomas Lim via playoff to win the boys’ 6-and-under division of the JGFP Riviera Junior Open at the Riviera Sports Club in Silang, Cavite over the weekend.

Yamada and Lim forged sudden death after matching 72s, three shots clear of Zojie Tyro Edoc.

In the girls’ 6-and-under, Stephanie Gan continued her winning streak by upending rival Winter Serapio by shooting a 71. Serapio submitted a 74 with Andi Dee taking third place with 83.

The other division winners were Soreen Lee in the boys’ 7-8, Kami del Mundo in the girls’ 7-8, Travis Collin Chua in the boys’ 9-10, and Quincy Pilac in the girls’ 9-10.
