University of Perpetual Help System Dalta remained unbeaten after a 22-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-19 victory over Arellano University in Season 98 National Collegiate Athletic Association women’s volleyball tournament yesterday at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.

The Lady Altas banked on the efforts of rookie Shaila Omipon, who went for a career-high 24 points built on 21 attacks, a block and two aces as they join defending champion College of Saint Benilde on top of the standings with similar 3-0 win-loss records.

Lady Chiefs rookie Laika Tudlasan had 23 points but couldn’t prevent her squad from absorbing its first loss of the season in three games.

Earlier, the Lady Blazers made quick work of San Beda University, 25-14, 25-15, 25-14.

Jade Gentapa scored 15 attack points as Saint Benilde got the job done in an hour.
