OHEB lifts Blacklist over gritty Omega Esports

Two-time MPL PH champion and M3 Mobile Legends world champion Blacklist International is off to a hot start in MPL Season 10 following a sweep over a tough Omega Esports Saturday evening.

After scoring the first match point, Blacklist brought out a tankless lineup for Game 2 in Beatrix, Benedetta, Xavier, Thamuz, and Estes while Omega Esports played Valentina, Akai, Esmeralda, Selena, and Wanwan.

Omega dominated the match right from the get-go, getting the lead on kills and having destroyed all but one Blacklist turret on the bottom. But as they have made a final push in the middle, Blacklist bit back with a series of high physical and magic damage that wiped out Omega.

The opening gave Blacklist enough time to break all three turrets in the middle en route to the base, thanks to the heroics of OHEB’s Beatrix that saw him get a Mega Kill and end the series with a 4/3/3 KDA.

“We were confident that we can one way [Game 2], especially because we have Xavier and Beatrix. We just waited for the opportunity for them to make a mistake and it happened,” Blacklist International team captain OhMyV33nus said after the match.

Earlier in the day, new-look ONIC PH outlasted M3 Mobile Legends world champion Bren Esports for a hard-fought 2-1 victory while fan-favorite Nexplay EVOS hammered TNC with an emphatic, 2-0, win.
