SMNI dominates Davao Eaglemasters

Lloyd Labrador scored 37 points at South Forbes Golf Club to power SMNI to the overall crown in the just-concluded 12th Davao Eaglemasters golf team championships in Davao Sunday.

Labrador bagged the individual title with 73 points, a point ahead of teammate Elee Bisera who did not count in the final round.

Aside from Labrador, SMNI drew 33 points each from Ronel Tagaan and Jhondie Quibol and 31 from Alexander Bisera to close with 134 and 281 total, 20 points clear of runner-up Arcadia.

The Manila Southwoods-based squad leaned on Ken Rowel Zonio’s 35 points to end the day with 130 points. The other scorers were JJ Alvarez 33, Ace Stehmeier 31 and Bayani Garcia.

Seven shots behind Arcadia was Nippon Tech Builders with UBI-Tapa taking fourth with 250 points.

The other division winners were Paraiso Team in Flight A, Team Recovery 5.30 1 in Flight B, Foreplay 3 in Flight C and TGIS Seniors in the seniors.
