ECHO crushes RSG, books M4 and MPL finals appearance

SOCIAL MEDIA

ECHO became the second Philippine team to advance to the M4 Mobile Legends World Championship following a victory over the defending champion RSG PH on Saturday evening.

ECHO also booked a grand finals appearance in MPL PH Season 10.

RSG PH passed an acid test from Bren Esports with a 3-2 win earlier in the day that advanced them to a lower bracket finals match with ECHO.

The Season 10 champion and MSC 2022 champion, however, had little answer to ECHO’s rampage as they fell to the fan favorites by 3-1.

“I am overjoyed because since I was in NXP people kept saying that I should stick streaming and vlogging,” said ECHO’s team captain YAWI.

“Now I have proven something as we go to the world stage and the [MPL] finals. It is really good to play with many people loving us even though we lose sometimes. Now that we are in the finals, we will try our best to become the champion.”

Following a sorry 3-0 defeat at the hands of Blacklist International in the upper bracket finals, ECHO will have the chance to avenge their loss when they meet again in a best-of-seven matchup in the finals this Sunday at 4:00 PM at the Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City.
