BON CHAN, Blacklist gun for M4 history

SOCIAL MEDIA

Blacklist International Mobile Legends head coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza is confident that his team can make history anew when they see action in the M4 Mobile Legends World Championship from 1 to 15 January in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Blacklist, the only three-time champion in the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines, won the M3 World Championship in Singapore in December 2021.

Having qualified for M4 for winning the MPL Season 10, BON CHAN is convinced that his squad could become the first team in history to win back-to-back Mobile Legends world championships.

“I think this is the team that can win back-to-back championships at M4 so we really needed to get there and no one else,” BON CHAN said.

“Maybe it would take another generation to have a team to win a back-to-back (world championship) but this team I am very confident of.”

Blacklist made its mark in the Mobile Legends competitive scene when it won back-to-back MPL championships in Seasons 7 and 8. Without the power duo of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” del Rosario in the Season 9 Playoffs, however, the squad greatly struggled and lost its crown.
