SOCIAL MEDIA

Indonesia is taking home the lion’s share of the $100,000 prize pool in the IESF World Esports Championship following a win against Sibol in the grand finals of the tournament on 11 December in Bali, Indonesia.

Sibol, composed of Blacklist International players OhMyV33nus, Wise, OHEB, Edward, and Hadji, was sent to the lower bracket by Indonesia in the opening match of the playoffs.

The three-time MPL PH champion and M3 world champion climbed their way out of the lower bracket to meet Indonesia in a rematch in the grand finals, only to see themselves beaten again in a 0-3 sweep.

The second-place finish saw the Philippine national Esports team bag $30,000 or roughly P1.6 million.
