Blacklist catches fire in ‘Group of Hell’

SOCIAL MEDIA

Reigning champion Blacklist International blasted Incendio Supremacy, 1-0, to score its first win in the M4 Mobile Legends World Championship Sunday at the Bali United Studio in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Composed of powerhouse roster of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna, Danerie James “Wise” del Rosario, Kiel Calvin “OHEB” Soriano, Edward Jay “EDWARD” Dapadap and Salid “Hadji” Imam, Blacklist tapped familiar heroes in Kadita, Benedetta, Karrie, Valentina and Kaja to crush Incendio Supremacy in just 12 minutes.

Blacklist, however, opted to keep its head down following the win.

“We did not expect them to be this good. I think they are a great team, including Burn x Team Flash, the champion of Cambodia, and Falcon Esports because we know how good of a competition Myanmar is,” skipper OhMyV33nus said.

But Blacklist’s mission is still far from over.

Its most anticipated battle will be against Burn x Team Flash, a Cambodian squad bannered by Filipino John “Zico” Dizon, on Tuesday.

Although it is a massive favorite to sweep Group A, Blacklist is on its toes as it treats, knowing that their foes can pull off a surprise in the best-of-one series of the Group Stage.

“Group of hell? Yes, I think it is true because we just experienced playing Incendio Supremacy,” OhMyV33nus said.
