No promotion, no relegation in ML League

SOCIAL MEDIA

There will be no promotion nor relegation of teams in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League PH Season 11 and the debut season of Mobile Legends Development League.

MDL PH is a tier-two Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional league that is set to begin on Wednesday, 15 February.

The league will be participated in by both MPL and non-MPL teams with some MPL veterans and even world titleholder OHEB making the jump to the tier-two league.

But regardless of how teams would perform in the upcoming season of both tournaments, teams are bound to stay in the league where they belong.

“There will be no promotion or relegation between MPL and MDL because MPL PH is a franchise league,” Tonyo Silva, Moonton’s senior marketing manager for Esports told Daily Tribune.

According to Silva, MDL’s main purpose is to develop a grassroots program and discover new talent in the Mobile Legends professional scene.

“MDL is a platform to showcase the talent of our young aspiring Esports athletes,” Silva quipped.
