Gabriel Manotoc led five amateurs who secured spots in the Philippine Golf Tour at the close of the qualifying school at the Splendido Taal Golf and Country Club Friday.
A product of Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, California, Manotoc closed with a one-under-par 71 to finish fifth on 296, seven shots behind top qualifier Hyun Ho Rho of South Korea.
The other amateurs who earned their tour cards were Russell Bautista (81-303), Kristoffer Arevalo (77-307), Leandro Bagtas (80-307), and Jonas Magcalayo (78-307).
