Valorant streamer Kyedae diagnosed with cancer

SOCIAL MEDIA

Valorant streamer and content creator Kyedae Shymko revealed in a tweet on Friday, 3 March the reason for her recent absence from streaming.

“I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer). I’ll be starting up treatment very soon,” Kyedae wrote.

“With that being said I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent! Stay safe.”

Kyedae, the fiance of the professional Valorant player TenZ, was met with an outpour of support from her fellow streamers and content creators, including her organization and Esports giant 100 Thieves.

“We love you and support you. We’ll be here with you each step of the way,” 100 Thieves replied.
