Lascuna leads PGAP winners

Tony Lascuna fired the day’s best round — a three-under-par 67 — to rule the senior division in the Professional Golf Association of the Philippines fun golf game tournament at the Veterans Golf Club in Quezon City on Monday.

Lascuna, a multi-titled pro, collected four birdies against a lone bogey to edge Mars Pucay by two shots. Ronald Pactolerin and Jonathan Besite tied for third with identical 76s.

In the super senior bracket, Danny de los Santos carded a 69 to win by seven shots over Robert Pactolerin. Sharing third were Ernesto Ponelas and Mario Manubay who shot similar 77s.

The touring division was won by Randy Garalde with a 70 followed by Allan Remata and Robert Marabe with 71 each.

Nelbert Salahog was tops among teaching pros with a 72. Joel Casanova came in second on 75 while Mico Pactolerin, Ronnie Rondina, and Melvin Ignacio shared third with a 76 each.
