Debuting Irrad named final week MVP of MPL regular season

SOCIAL MEDIA

RSG PH reserve jungler John “Irrad” Abarquez is the Week 8 regular season MVP of MPL Season 11 thanks to his heroics in beating Nexplay EVOS via sweep this past weekend.

Irrad substituted for popular jungler H2wo and proved he belongs to the big league when he averaged 4.60 kills, 6.40 assists, and 725 gold per minute in RSG’s 2-0 win over Nexplay EVOS.

The win contributed to RSG’s 4th place finish in the regular season and he was rewarded a Razer Blackshark V2 for the MVP citation.

“Alam ko lang yung ambiance ngayon ng stage kaya medyo nakakalaro po ako nang maayos. Mas na-motivate ako na galingan pa lalo para makaakyat ako,” Irrad said.

The MPL Season 9 champion and MSC 2023 champion will meet ONIC PH in a do-or-die match on Day 1 of the Playoffs on 4 May at SMX Convention Center in Pasay.
