Sibol shoots for SEAG gold in ESports

Sibol will gun for the gold medal against Indonesia Thursday night in the Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang women’s division of the Philippines defeated Malaysia late Wednesday in the semifinals in Phnom Penh.

Composed of Omega Empress players Diagon, Kaye “Keishi” Alpuerto, Rica “Amoree” Amores, Sheen “Shinoa” Perez, and Mery “Meraaay” Vivero, Sibol gave Malaysia a 2-0 beatdown to set up a grand finals showdown with ASEAN powerhouse Indonesia.

The MLBB women’s team will be the country’s fourth guaranteed medal in the SEA Games as Sibol Valorant team took a bronze medal for dealing a 2-0 sweep over Vietnam.

Sibol Crossfire earlier secured a bronze medal while Wild Rift bagged the first Esports gold for the Philippines.
