Mark your calendars because a colossal automotive event is coming up that is certain to thrill both the gearheads and the families. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is all set to roll out an elaborate four-day expo at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, from 10 to 13 August.

This event isn’t just any auto show — it’s a grand celebration marking 60 years of Mitsubishi’s journey, its significant milestone of 1.2 million cumulative sales, and an impressive production record of 800,000 vehicles.

Titled the “Mitsubishi Motors Philippines 60th Anniversary Expo,” the exposition is a powerful tribute to Mitsubishi’s storied past while also showcasing a promising vision of its future. The expo is designed to deliver an engaging experience with a rich tapestry of car displays, daily performances, and activities tailored for the whole family.

The real showstoppers are the two concept vehicles set to be unveiled at the event. The Mitsubishi XFC Concept is a sneak peek into the future design for the next five-seater SUV.

Alongside it, the Mitsubishi XRT Concept, the blueprint for the brand’s next-gen pick-up truck, will share the limelight. These two concept cars provide a tantalizing glimpse into Mitsubishi’s future roadmap and potential new offerings.

Mitsubishi’s past will be equally celebrated as the company showcases a series of heritage vehicles, effectively drawing a timeline of its pivotal contributions to the Philippines’ automotive industry over six decades.

These classics will give attendees a chance to walk down memory lane, reliving the evolution of the auto brand.

If attendees want to go beyond just looking, MMPC will provide a more hands-on experience with their current product line-up. Customers will be able to experience the superior features and advanced technologies of Mitsubishi vehicles through two unique test drive options. For the traditionalist, there’s a normal road test around the streets, while the thrill-seekers can venture on the specially designed obstacle test drive tracks within the World Trade Center premises.

Adding to the familial vibe, Mitsubishi car clubs are being warmly invited to take part in the event, showcasing their prized possessions and enjoying free vehicle check-ups at the dedicated booth. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to commune, share experiences, and celebrate Mitsubishi’s heritage together.

The expo is designed to be an all-inclusive, fun-filled event, offering a range of engaging activities suitable for all ages. Attendees will be treated to live performances from an eclectic mix of Filipino artists, both established and rising, ensuring every day of the expo has a lively and festive atmosphere.

Beyond the automotive experience, MMPC is also facilitating a journey through the Philippines, with regional products available for exploration and purchase, thus enriching the visitors’ experience and providing a wholesome weekend out for the family.

Free admission for everyone sets the tone for this expo, underlining Mitsubishi’s commitment to its customers. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., visitors will have access to a powerhouse experience brought by the longest-staying automotive company in the Philippines.

Keep an eye out for further announcements regarding sales offers, expected to be released in August, leading up to the event. More details about the expo can be found at
