MPL Season 11 champion and M4 world champion ECHO Loud had to settle for a 4th place finish at the World Cyber Games 2023 following a loss in the lower bracket semifinals against ONIC Overlord earlier today at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea.

ECHO fielded its world championship roster of Yawi, KarlTzy, Bennyqt, Sanford, and Sanji, as they brought out familiar heroes such as Lancelot, Harith, Yve, and Arlot. The Filipinos, however, failed to find any success as they fell to the Indos by 0-2.

Though eliminated, the Philippines still has a representative in the international tournament in ECHO Proud, composed of Jeymz, Zaida, KurtTzy, Outplayed, and Jaypee. They battle EVOS Icon for the grand prize of $20,000 tomorrow.
