CALABARZON bags 11 gold on Palaro’s first day

Region IV-A had a dominant showing after collecting 22 medals on the first day of the 63rd Palarong Pambansa at Marikina City last Monday.

CALABARZON collected 11 gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals for the lead.

Region III is in second place with an 8-4-6 gold-silver-bronze medal tally with 18 medals overall.

Defending champion National Capital Region might have the most medals of the day with 26, it only mustered seven golds, 10 silvers, and nine bronzes.

The Palarong Pambansa returns after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
