Members of the combined team executives and coaching staff of NLEX, spearheaded by TNT head coach and PBA legend Jojo Lastimosa and newly-appointed Philippine Basketball Association board representative Ronald Dulatre, repulsed the late charge of the Alvin Patrimonio-reinforced Judge Juan Luna Alumni Association, 125-119, during the Benefit Game held recently at the UP Epsilon Chi Center.

JP Belencion knocked in 15 points, including the dagger three-point basket from deep left to squelch a last-minute uprising by the Lunarians in this event supported by NLEX, the Philippine Sports Commission thru the Office of Senator Bong Go, Office of Congressman Arjo Atayde, Don Benitos, OCCCI and KalosPh.

Dulatre paced the Road Warriors with 16 points as he led six players in double-figures for the squad.

Aldrin Demos carried the fight for the Lunarians with a game-high 37 points followed by Arvin Evangelista with 25.

Richard and Raymond Sula combined for 24 markers for JJLHS Alumni.

The event, organized by the JJLHS Alumni Association, was aimed at raising sports equipment, mono bloc chairs and books for Judge Juan Luna High School, which can be used by students for the coming school season.
