Professional golfer James Ryan Lam and Jet Mathay owned the distinction of becoming the first-ever “virtual champions” after dominating the recent Chicken Chingu Pro-Am Invitational at the GolfX Performance Center in San Juan.

The tandem scored 11 under par to win by just one shot over Fidel Concepcion and Daniel Road in the first Pro-Am held at the simulation facility.

Julian Celis and Beejay Chua came in third, 11 strokes behind the champions.

With rains holding off golf schedules, GolfX has been providing truly “all-weather” facility for the lovers of the sport.

It has 10 sim bays to hit the balls whether you are a longtime player or just picking up the sport.
