AP Bren’s hectic schedule did not get in the way of getting their first win of the season following a sweep over TNC Pro Team on the opening day of MPL Season 12 this Friday evening at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.
AP Bren, coming off a first-place finish at IESF World Championship 2023 earlier this week, arrived in the Philippines from Romania past midnight yesterday. Still, the players showcased that they remain in top form with a 2-0 win over TNC.
“This is not the end of PH era because M5 is happening here, our hometown,” said AP Bren’s experience laner Flap, responding to naysayers that Indonesia, whom they defeated in the IESF finals, has taken over the Mobile Legends competitive scene.
MPL Season 9 champion and MSC 2022 champion RSG PH, meanwhile, had its hands full against a gritty ONIC PH. After scoring one game each, RSG PH barely made it out alive in Game 3 after losing seven turrets before winning the series in 26 minutes.
