Much-awaited showdown between KarlTzy and Irrad ends in ECHO reverse sweep

The much-anticipated showdown between two of the battling junglers in the country KarlTzy and Irrad ended in a reverse sweep in favor of ECHO on Week 2 Day 3 of MPL PH Season 12 this Sunday evening at Shooting Gallery Studio in Makati.

RSG PH drew first blood in the opening game after they defeated ECHO in a matter of 9 minutes and 57 seconds, the quickest win yet in all MPL regions. The defending champion then came back in Games 2 and 3, needing just 14 minutes each to cop the series.

“They made it quick in Game 1, so we also made it quick in Game 2 and 3,” said ECHO’s mid laner Sanji after the match.

KarlTzy, who had a beef with Irrad last season, reached out to the RSG jungler with an olive branch last Friday by saying that Irrad is actually his best friend. KarlTzy, however, did not like Irrad’s response which prompted him to get back to talking trash.

“I did not expect their strategy. He [Irrad] was being disruptive with my farm. With the way he answered, it is like he does not want us to be friends. Palakas ka pa,” KarlTzy quipped.

Earlier in the day, AP Bren moved to the no.2 spot of the ladder after sweeping Minana Evos. They currently hold a 3-1 standing with 10 points. Omega Esports, meanwhile, bounced back from defeat against ECHO last Friday with a sweep over TNC. They now sit at no.4 with 6 points.
