Blacklist International shuffles roster, falls short anew against ECHO

Defending MPL PH champion emerged victorious via sweep yet again against Blacklist International on Week 4 Day of MPL Season 12 this Friday afternoon at Shooting Gallery Studio in Makati.

After making quick work of Blacklist in Game 1, ECHO found themselves almost losing to a shuffled roster of Owl, Rindo, Yue, Dominic, and Kimpoy, who are responsible for breaking all of the defending champion’s turrets in the second stanza.

Come the late game with Bennyqt item locked with his Wanwan, ECHO mounted a comeback after a couple of successful base defenses before winning a crucial lord fight in the dying minutes of the match.

“I think this roster is just as strong [as the first team] but just lacks in experience,” ECHO’s star jungler KarlTzy said after the match.

Locked in the top seed, ECHO improved its perfect season standing to 8-0 with 21 points.
