SOCIAL MEDIA

Defending MPL PH champion ECHO has ended its regular season campaign with three straight defeats following a 1-2 loss at the hands of AP Bren on Week 6 Day 2 of MPL Season 12 this Saturday at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati.

ECHO, the M4 world champion, was on the brink of making history when it won 11 straight games only to get stopped by RSG PH last week. The defeat was followed by a 0-2 sweep by Minana Esports yesterday and AP Bren today.

Despite three consecutive losses amid the return of Yawi against AP Bren, ECHO will remain as the top seed of the regular season with a standing of 11-3 with 30 points. More than a spot in the Playoffs, ECHO had also earned an upper bracket spot in the tournament.

AP Bren, meanwhile, climbed back to no.2 with its win over ECHO and will have one last game left against three-time MPL champion and M3 world champion Blacklist International this Sunday at 6:30 PM.
