Philippine women’s futsal team stun New Zealand

The Philippine national women’s futsal team is off to the final stage of the PFF Women’s Tri-Nation Futsal Invitational 2023 after a 1-0 semifinal win over New Zealand at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Saturday.

Althea Rebosura scored the only goal of the tournament in extra time, propelling them to the final.

The Philippines will face Indonesia, who swept the elimination round, in the final on Sunday, 22 October.
