AP Bren is working hard to erase the bitter memory of its previous performance in the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines.

AP Bren coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro told Daily Tribune that they do not want to suffer the fate they had in Season 11 so they are working hard to come up with an improved performance entering the Season 12 Playoffs set from 25 to 29 October at the EVM Convention Center in Quezon City.

Last season, AP Bren also fought hard for an upper bracket slot in the Playoffs but lost every match in the final stretch of the eliminations.

This time, AP Bren wants to make good use of their upper bracket spot by reviewing their past mistakes.

“We are currently fixing all the issues we found during the last stretch of the regular season,” Glindro said.

“We are in the process of eliminating all the mistakes we made back in Season 11 Playoffs. We are also developing precautions to prevent them from happening again this time.”

Composed of team captain Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel, Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, Marco Stephen “SUPER MARCO” Requitano, David “Flap” Canon and Vincent “Pando” Unigo, AP Bren ended the regular season as the second seed to earn a slot in the upcoming Playoffs.

AP Bren finished the first half of the tournament with a 7-7 standing and 24 points which was more than enough to qualify the squad for the Playoffs and take the second spot in the upper bracket.

In Week 6 of the tournament, which was the final week of the regular season, AP Bren went 1-2 in its three matches losing to Omega Esports by 1-2 and three-time MPL champion Blacklist International via sweep while they defeated defending champion ECHO.
