AP Bren emerged as the grand champion of MPL Season 12 following a highly-impressive victory over Blacklist International on Sunday evening at EVM Convention Center in Quezon City.

Composed of Pheww, Flap, KyleTzy, Super Marco, and Owgwen, AP Bren lost just one game in the best-of-seven series en route to winning the championship by 4-1. They pocketed $35,000 and will represent the Philippines in the M5 World Championship.

“I think we are just more prepared for Blacklist International this time. I saw them play against ECHO, which is one of the best teams in the world today,” AP Bren coach Ducky said after the match.

Before the start of the tournament final, Ducky also became the latest inductee in the Hall of Legends joining the likes of Mobile Legends icons Coach Panda, KarlTzy, and OhMyV33nus. According to Ducky, his accomplishments are because of the players.

“I am very thankful that I have these guys with me. I am glad to be with them and hopefully, we will still be together in upcoming tournaments,” Ducky stated.
