ECHO punches ticket to MPLI finals with sweep of AP Bren, Homebois eliminate Blacklist


ECHO is going to the grand finals of MPL Invitational 2023 following an impressive sweep over AP Bren in the upper bracket finals of the tournament this Saturday evening at GBK Basketball Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Composed of its Season 12 roster of KarlTzy, Bennyqt, Sanford, Sanji, and Jaypee, ECHO delivered a fatal blow to the MPL Season 12 champion AP Bren by beating the latter with a 2-0 score, sending their fellow Filipinos to the lower bracket final.

“We are so eager to win because we have so many doubters. Shoutout to all of you, here we are again,” star jungler KarlTzy said after the match.

Earlier in the day, Malaysian squad Homebois sent Blacklist International packing with a hard-fought 2-1 victory. They will lock horns with RSG PH in the lower bracket semifinal with the winner facing AP Bren tomorrow.
