Trollano catches fire, NLEX runs over NorthPort

SOCIAL MEDIA

Don Trollano rediscovered his shooting touch while import Thomas Robinson played another solid game as NLEX bounced back strong with a 112-104 win over NorthPort Wednesday night in the Philippine Basketball Association Commissioner’s Cup.

Trollano scored 18 first-quarter points on his way to finishing with 29 points while Robinson came away with 30 markers on top of 18 boards.

It was the third time in his career Trollano was able to score at least 20 in a quarter, but it came at a perfect time as he needed to step up big in the absence of injured veteran guard Kevin Alas, who was sidelined because of an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
