Rey Chen and Nikki Namoco led their respective events to become the top winners in the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines FMG D’League junior golf championships at the Intramuros Golf Club.

Chen captured the title in the Boys’ 15-18, besting Kristian Dy and Ohkawa Takahiro who placed second and third, respectively.

Namoco held sway over Jenina Sydney Eusebio and Kyllie De Jesus for the Girls’ 15-18 trophy.

“This is just our developmental roster and you can already see they have a lot of potential,” said JGFP president Oliver Gan whose efforts, as well as that of chairman Tommy Manotoc, allows the foundation to gain strides in as far as development is concerned.

“We want to continue scouring the grassroots for golf talents that would one day represent the country in the international stage.”

Matthew Kim emerged victorious in the Boys’ 13-14 beating Emilio Pastro and Leon Magtibay, while Janneia Mataban topped the Girls’ side.
