ONIC sinks Blacklist International to lower bracket after first M5 Playoffs match

SOCIAL MEDIA

Indonesian powerhouse ONIC Esports sent Blacklist International crashing to the lower bracket of the M5 World Championship Knockout Stage following a hard-fought win over the Filipinos on Saturday evening at Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila.

Spearheaded by Filipino star jungler Kairi and backed by Butss, CW, Kiboy, and Sanz, the kings of MPL Indonesia had to tap every weapon in their arsenal after going 2-2 in the best-of-five series.

In Game 5, ONIC Esports drafted an early game-oriented lineup and did not allow Blacklist International gold laner OHEB to complete his items with Claude. With OHEB pacified, ONIC Esports finished the series in 13 minutes.

Though defeated, it is not the end of the road for Blacklist International yet. They will face Fire Flex Esports on December 11 to continue their journey to a second M-Series world championship.
