AP Bren became the first two-time M-Series world champion following a hard-fought victory over ONIC Esports in the grand finals of the M5 World Championship this Sunday evening at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Led by team captain Pheww and backed by FlapTzy, Super Marco, Owgwen, and KyleTzy, AP Bren fought tooth and nail in the best-of-seven finals where they won by a razor-thin 4-3 score.

An M2 world champion and now a two-time M-Series world champion, AP Bren’s experience laner FlapTzy bagged the finals MVP citation and took home an additional $5,000 purse.

“This is shocking because we did not win because of me, it was my teammates,” FlapTzy quipped.

History was written with AP Bren’s big victory along with a $300,000 prize for winning the world championship. The first team ever to win an M-Series world championship twice, AP Bren is also the first team to win a world title on home soil in Mobile Legends history.
