Eala and Cascino reach W75 Croissy-Beaubourg semis

Alex Eala makes it to the W75 Croissy-Beaubourg women’s doubles semifinal as she and Estelle Cascino of France delivered a 6-4, 6-0 win Emily Appleton of Great Britain and Isabella Haverlag of the Netherlands on Friday at the Comité Départemental de Tennis de Seine & Marne in France.

Both Eala and Cascino finished off their opponents in 57 minutes to get a step closer to the championship round.

A win over Kira Pavlova of Russia and Marie Weckerle of Luxembourg on Friday evening will send Eala and Cascino to the finals.

The last time Eala won a doubles title in her professional career was at the W50 Pune in India last January with Darja Semenistaja of Latvia
