Reigning UAAP Most Valuable Player Kevin Quiambao will stay with De La Salle University for the UAAP Season 87 men’s basketball tournament.

Quiambao, who led the Green Archers to the title last season, confirmed his decision in a social media post.

“After countless days and weeks of praying and weighing on what’s best for me and my family, spending time in God’s Word is the only way to grow closer to Him, I’ve decided to fulfill my promise for DLSU and LASALLIAN Community,” Quiambao posted on social media.

“To GOD be the Glory. Animo 💚 #S87”

In Season 86, Quiambao bagged the Mythical Team and Finals MVP honors as La Salle prevailed over University of the Philippines in the finals.
