The Philippine national women’s football team came up short against South Korea, 1-2, in a friendly match at the Icheon City Stadium in Korea Sunday evening.

Cho Hyo-joo struck first for the Koreans in the first minute, while Chloe Yu-ri made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute.

Angela Beard was able to score from a free kick in the 74th minute but the Filipinas weren’t able to convert goals until the final whistle.
