“We would like to thank Coach George Pascua for all that he has done for the team,” the club said in its Instagram post.
“He built a program that helped the players strengthen their teamwork and gameplay, as they faced their battles on the court during the three conferences that Coach George was on board. We wish him well as he moves on to new endeavors.”
Pascua took over the PLDT rein January last year as replacement for Roger Gorayeb.
Under his watch, the rebuilding High Speed Hitters finished fifth in the Open Conference, fourth in the Invitational Conference after losing to sister team Cignal in the battle for third and sixth in the season-ending Reinforced Conference.
Pascua had an 11-12 win-loss record with PLDT.
The club has yet to name a replacement for Pascua with just a month left before the PVL opens its 2023 season on 4 February.
